As a kid, I dreamt of being a princess. As an adult, I’m in love with being a boss. Women are beast and I mean that in the most flattering way possible. I’ve seen us in action. Seriously, superheroes have nothing on us
Juggling life, motherhood, wifehood, and business can be quite the challenge and somehow my mentors make it look super easy If you need help with that you can check out my HOW TO FIND A MENTOR WITH NO CONNECTIONS.
Over the years, I’ve looked for mom friends, business friends, and overall good people to add to my circle. What’s so funny about this list is that I don’t know these ladies personally, but they’re friends in my head, just like all of you. I’ve watched these women grow their businesses, elevate their brands and increase their incomes, all while inspiring me along the way. They’re my absolute favorites and although I’d love to keep them to myself, let me introduce you since we’re all friends here.

Patricia Bright She is the definition of Black Girl Magic and LadyBoss goals, to the tenth power. Patricia Bright is YouTube gold. She has used her platform to expand beyond YouTube videos into a makeup brand deal with Mac Cosmetics, a publishing deal for her self-help book “Hustle and Heart”, she’s become a staple at Rhianna’s launch parties, and graced the cover of Glamour (UK) magazine in 2018.

Even beyond those accomplishments, she manages to master motherhood and wife life with, what at least appears to be, ease. If you don’t know this UK gem, I’m going to need you to crawl from underneath the rock you’ve been hiding under and get on board.
Patricia’s a mentor to me because she was the first influencer, I saw that broke the mold of what an influencer could do. She changed the game for what was possible and dared me to think bigger.

Up next, Mattie James She’s a Blogger, Youtuber, Podcaster, mom, and wife.

Her reach is slightly smaller, but her impact is just as big. This stylish mom of three keeps it chic and simple with her lifestyle blog but is bold in business and shares her tips on making money, raising a family, and “Living Life beautifully”, a phrase she rightfully tokens. She does it all. From blog mastery to TV, she helps me keep my eyes on the prize and pushes me to find ways to make money in this industry. She’s a force to be reckoned with and the type of go-getter that I like to surround myself with.

Lastly, Jenell B. Stewart She’s another YouTuber. She just keeps it real and I gel well with people like that. Her lifestyle blog talks about self-care, physical and mental health, and organizing your life. I love that she’s not your typical “I dress cute so let me show you how to look cute” blogger.

But if nothing else, I’m honest. I love that she took a slightly different approach and that she dives into the beauty of happiness, grace, and self-preservation. It’s refreshing!
She’s also an “award-winning beauty editor, a wife and mom of 2, a YouTub
Jenell inspired me to put my twist on things; To not get so caught up in what everyone else is doing and to make sure that I’m being authentic to who I am and what I want to accomplish. She also reminds me to remember to take care of myself.

Over the years, post after post, video after video, I have watched these women excel and their successes inspired me to go all in. When I started and stopped, I remembered Patricia Bright saying that her YouTube channel took ten years to pop. That gave me momentum on those days that I didn’t want to record or through the months of barely gaining one subscriber a week.
When I was stressed about making money because this blog life is a journey not a marathon, I turned to Mattie. She reminded me that planning and organization is a big key to business and even shared a few tips on how to plan financially and produce fruit.
When I got overwhelmed and needed to take a step back, Jenell gave be the tools to find peace in my day to day life and properly balance building and business.
I love their stories, their growth, and their boss-ness (my word for “beyond excelling in everything”). They don’t take no for an answer. They persevere and get paid and remind me that I’m not crazy for wanting it all. Not only have they proven than I can, they’ve inspired me to go for it and help you along the way.
I hope you enjoyed my favs and maybe they’ll just become yours too😘.
