Welcome to my organizing blog, all about organizing and decluttering. You will find useful information on how to get started and continue your journey as a more organized person. I write about tips on decluttering and organizing your home and business- to make space for the moments that matter most (whatever they are).

For me, and many of you, it’s our children, our spouses, our families, and any glimpse of me-time that we can manage. This Blog will provide helpful information for creating new routines. Including but not limited to storage solutions, cleaning tips, time management best practices, D.I.Y. projects for home organizing, and more. OFF THE RECORD Mom is your friend and personal assistant on your organizational journey

I have learned that there is no one-size-fits-all solution. Everyone’s home and businesses are different, and everyone’s needs are different- it’s important to tailor our organizing plan according to our own home, schedule, storage style, personality, and lifestyle. This Blog is intended to provide less stress and make life clutter-free by using simple solutions. Ones that are easy to implement and will inspire us to get going. With these strategies, we can get organized and stay that way.

Why an Organizing Blog?

So here’s a quick rundown about how I started an organizing blog. Then, we’ll jump right into my favorite organizing blogs, which I know you’ll love.
Organizing is this amazing gift of a thing that most of us take for granted. By simply getting more organized, we save time, save money, are more productive, and are enabled to make more memories.

Some call me “O.C.D.” because I’ve always been a bit “type A.”
But, to be honest, I’m just a lazy neat freak. I love when things look neat and are in order, but I need them to take the least amount of effort possible to look that way because the truth is, Organizing does not come easy to me. I’m particular about my space and stingy with my time.
Avoiding clutter?
I personally avoided decluttering and organizing for years. The general idea of Organizing felt overwhelming. But, the perks of living an organized lifestyle intrigued me. So, I gave it a shot, and over and over again, I proved myself wrong. I can be organized. Life can be simple, and living in peace is possible, even if I tend to be more disorganized than organized.

I started this Blog for people like us. Women who want to utilize their space and time better and free up mental capacity but don’t know where to start. Moms who want their homes to be a place of peace and their businesses to thrive and scale but get overwhelmed at the thought of taking action. Moms who are losing it because there is always something somewhere want to stop yelling at the kids and spouses but don’t want to be stuck doing all the housework alone. Through Organizing, we can enable those little people and big people who live with us to help out more and clear the brain clutter that comes with the mess.
I’m not naturally organized, and you don’t have to be either. Great if you are, there are awesome goodies for you too, but it’s not a requirement. Anyone can learn to be more organized. It’s a skill, not a talent. Trust me on this. I’ve learned a ton of great tips from the youtube channel of a professional declutterer, workshops, and Pinterest boards. A little inspiration goes a long way.
The lifestyle of an organized Momma:

- Imagine a world where you left the house on time because you knew exactly where your kid’s favorite dinosaur shirt was and didn’t spend an extra 72 hrs looking for it while you’re supposed to be on an important call.
- Imagine cooking a healthy, delicious dinner in ten minutes instead of forty-five because meal planning was a breeze.
- Waking up and not feeling stressed looking around your home and seeing chores that you have to get done
- Imagine spending time with your spouse that doesn’t feel like “work” because it’s another thing on your TO-DO list today.
- Imagine getting me-time: Drinking your coffee while it’s hot, eating dinner as soon as it’s cooked, pedicures, facials, mimosas with friends.
- Imagine a well-organized home because you were able to gain control of your everyday life with ease.
Yes!
It Exists
ALL OF IT!

I know as a mom, it seems like a myth; at least for me, it did. But, It’s not. I can say firsthand that it exists because I have it- most days. Access to these tools changed how I operated completely, and I wanted to create a space where moms could get together, share their experiences, learn some tips, and be inspired. Because we as women deserve to have it all if we want it, proper business and home management is truly the key.
To be clear, I’m not promising that your homes will never be messy or that you’ll always have an Insta-worthy, photo-ready home office. Not likely. But, the practical tips in this Blog will be guidance on your way to
The Most Inspiring Organizing Blogs
I’d quit my job, stayed home with my newborn, and attempted to start yet another business- my path to financial freedom. Yet, I was drowning in tasks, always late, and often overwhelmed and frustrated. Despite becoming an entrepreneur to capitalize on the work-from-home life and the flexibility of creating my own schedule, I was still missing out on important moments with my son and extremely beat from juggling it all by the time my husband made it home from work.
Sounds familiar?
Lucky me, the Netflix gods heard my cries. They started suggesting shows like Tidying Up by Marie Condo, Tiny House Nation (my absolute favorite), and this British real estate design show that I can’t remember the name of but was totally inspirational in the way the woman transformed someone’s ordinary living room into a coveted piece of property.
Because those shows were so impactful on my journey to organizational freedom, I wanted to do the same for you by sharing my favorite organizing blogs.

Organizing Moms is awesome. Focusing on practical solutions to mom’s everyday overwhelm, this site does a great job considering the needs of busy moms and not forcing the narrative that so many organizing blogs do – get it done. Everything you think and more when you ponder the words breathing room. The organization meets style in a beautifully minimalist way, and it leaves you feeling refreshed and enthusiastic about living a clutter-free life.

Besides the fun and quirky personalities of Clea and Joanna that won me over in their Get Organized Netflix show, The Home Edit organizing style is aesthetically beautiful. You won’t believe how motivating it is to stay organized with a great example of beautifully arranged home decor. No better way to find tips for your next organizing project than to take notes from a certified professional organizer.
